Abstract
The citation method presented here addresses a specific issue related to the identification of scholarly articles by incorporating a unique identifier (id) instead of the commonly used Digital Object Identifier (DOI). This approach aims to provide a distinctive way of referencing articles, particularly while utilizing public blockchain as host. The basic format includes essential details such as the author's name, publication year, article title, and a generated identifier via inscribing process, expressed as hash. This citation method offers a novel approach to uniquely identifying and referencing scholarly articles on chain.

Structure:
Author(s) (year of publication).
Title of the article [italic],
Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec [italic] + (1 to infinitive),
id: + hash

Protocol:
Author (Year). Title. Journal, Month (no.), id: hash

Example:
